چکیده
Graphene is a single layer of graphite with hexagonal structure which have stacked layers. has recently been recognized by its researchers due to it sp2 bonds in lattice, the two-dimensional atomic thickness, and superior electrical, electrochemical, optical, thermal, mechanical properties lightness. Liquid phase exfoliation (LPE) most promising method graphene research produce high quality production or low In addition, LPE an easy inexpensive as well enables higher capacity graphene. use surfactant mainly make water suitable means exfoliation. Furthermore, adsorbable surfactants provide effective charge electrostatic repulsion prevent re-aggregation sheets, thus providing stabilization against recombination suspended Because 1,2-Dichlorobenzene ortho-dichlorobenzene (O-DCB) both solvent for synthesis, one best liquid method. this study, powders were mixed acid solution H2SO4 HNO3 12h. The resulting powder was washed distilled until neutral pH obtained then subjected thermal treatment obtain expanded graphite. ultrasonic homogenizer mixture O-DCB 2h using 50 % strength examined Transmission electron microscope (TEM) X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).

Scalable, printable, surfactant-free graphene ink directly from graphite.
In this manuscript, we develop printable graphene ink through a solvent-exchange method. Printable graphene ink in ethanol and water free of any surfactant is dependent on matching the surface tension of the cross-solvent with the graphene surface energy. Percolative transport behavior is observed for films made of this printable ink. Optical conductivity is then calculated based on sheet resis...
متن کاملField emission from few-layer graphene nanosheets produced by liquid phase exfoliation of graphite.
Graphene nanosheets have been synthesized from commercial expandable graphite by heating in a microwave oven and dispersing in ethanol by ultrasonication. Scanning and transmission electron microscopy and electron energy-loss spectroscopy and atomic force microscope showed that the nanosheets were about 2 nm in thickness and 10 microm in diameter. The field emission of the graphene sheets has b...
متن کاملAdsorption kinetics and thermodynamics of Malachite Green from aqueous solutions onto expanded Graphite nanosheets
Expanded graphite nanosheets (EG-nanosheets) were used for adsorption of Malachite Green (MG) from aqueous solution. The influences of dye concentrations, absorbent dosage, pH values and the temperatures on the adsorption were investigated as well. The dye adsorption experiments were carried out by utilizing batch procedure. EG-nanosheets were initially characterized by scanning electron micros...

متن کاملColloidal graphite/graphene nanostructures using collagen showing enhanced thermal conductivity
In the present study, the exfoliation of natural graphite (GR) directly to colloidal GR/graphene (G) nanostructures using collagen (CL) was studied as a safe and scalable process, akin to numerous natural processes and hence can be termed "biomimetic". Although the exfoliation and functionalization takes place in just 1 day, it takes about 7 days for the nano GR/G flakes to stabilize. The predo...
